Homework Packet of reading Vision Statement Step One • Sell the Idea • What is a technology plan? • Why have a technology plan. • Explain the process. • What is the time table? • How will we succeed - “the most important committee you will be on”
Step Two • Begin to work on the VISION statement: • Brainstorm – no restrictions, just what would you like to see at your school in three years. • Look at other vision statements from other schools • Give a list of key words • Break up into groups – and write vision statements for your school • Points to keep in mind when getting the VISION • Allow time for this (not just one meeting) • Let there be “discussion” in your meetings • They have to believe in it and like it
