Introduction IPHD is a rights-based non-government organization working on human rights, globalisation, empowering the women through increasing their role in decision making and generating income opportunities for them, political education, health and education in district Multan. It works through organizing advocacy campaigns, dialogues, awareness seminars and direct service delivery and capacity development and continuous follow-ups of concerned stakeholders. It is registered under societies Act 1860.
Vision Socially just, peaceful, democratic and tolerant society where every citizen can exercise their rights and have the equal opportunities of development in every field of life regardless of sex, race and colour.
Mission To make the people empower through imparting knowledge, skills and to influence the policies through advocacy campaigns, dialogues and awareness for the inclusion of the excluded people of the society.
OBJECTIVE 1. To promote peace 2. Empower the poor 3.Strive for the good Governance 4.To create awareness among masses on public political issues 5.To reduce the illiteracy rate by providing the opportunities to access quality education to deprived people.
Major Activities 1. Conducted awareness seminars to raise the quality of food, education and health issues 2.Conducted dialogues in different districts for political awareness 3.Worked on youth employment project in collaboration with Care international In Pakistan. 4.Worked in flooded areas in Jalal pur peer wala. 5.Installation of Hand pumps in union council bait kaitchJalal pur peer wala with collaboration of Muslim Hands. 6.Installation of Hand pumps in district Multan with collaboration of Penny appeal organization.
