ART CLASSES • GENERAL ART – three sections • ADVANCED ART – two sections • STUDIO ART I/II – one section
VOCAL MUSIC OFFERINGS • CHAMBER CHOIR – non-audition • BELLA VOCE – audition only/female only • MADRIGALS –audition only/mixed voices • MUSICAL PERFORMANCE(DRAMA) – offered twice a year/one semester each BELLA VOCE AND MADRIGALS ARE CONSIDERED AS EXTRACURRICULAR AS WELL AS CURRICULAR
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC OFFERINGS • ALL HIGH SCHOOL BAND STUDENTS MEET IN THE SAME HOUR AND ARE BROKEN DOWN INTO THE FOLLOWING: • 1st Marking Period – ALL STUDENTS DO MARCHING BAND • 2nd-4th Marking Periods – SYMPHONY BAND, WIND SYMPHONY, PERCUSSION ENSEMBLES
EXTRACURRICULAR MUSIC/DRAMATIC OFFERINGS • JAZZ BAND/PEP BAND • FALL PLAY • SPRING MUSICAL – INCLUDES PIT ORCHESTRA • STEEL DRUM BAND • SOLO ENSEMBLE – BAND AND CHOIR
INDEPENDENT STUDY • 1st semester – 4 music theory and 1 elementary music exploration • 2nd semester – 8 music theory, 3 musical theatre, 1 music composition and 1 piano performance
