  1. How to Connect the ‘Samson go’ Microphone.

  2. Plug the USB wire into the USB port whilst the headphones are connected to the camera and then start Cubase.

  3. Open up Cubase and press ‘default’ then click ’Create’

  4. Go to ‘Devices’ and then ‘Device Set up’. On the left hand side, click VST Audio System make sure the ASIO Drive is ‘Generic Low Latency’ and if it isn’t it would come up with a window as seen, just click ‘Switch’.

  5. Under VST audio System there is the device for the microphone. Click ‘Control Panel’ and then a window will appear as shown, click the last set up and click Ok.

  6. Go to Devices and then VST Connections, once click go to Inputs and select ASIO4ALL v2 under “Audio Device’.

  7. Repeat this with ‘Outputs’

  8. Right-click, then select ‘Add audio Track’ make sure the new layer is selected, and click the red record button.

  9. Make sure the cursor is at the beginning And press play or space to start to record.

  10. How to connect the H2 Handy Recorder Plug the 3.5 mini jacks into the back of the PC and connect the wire to the Line Out of the device. Turn the device on and start up Cubase.

  11. Click ‘Already registered’.

  12. Go to ‘Devices > Device Set up.

  13. Click VST Audio System, make sure the drop down bar under VST Audio System on the right is ‘M Audio Delta ASIO’. Then click OK.

  14. Go to VST Connections under Device and change the Audio device to ‘M Audio Delta ASIO’

  15. Repeat this for Outputs.

  16. Right Click and select ‘Add Track..’ making sure the new layer is selected and then click the red button.

  17. Make sure cursor is at the beginning hit play or the space bar and start recording sounds.
