Surfing In Barbados, one of the main sport is surfing. The main concept of surfing is: to paddle out, wait for a wave, when the wave comes paddleand catch the wave then stand up.
Cricket Cricket is an island wide sport. Many teens will play this sport during their free time. Barbados has a cricket teem that competes world wide.
Football (soccer) Football or soccer as you may know it is a big sport on the island. Especially in the teen age category. Schools will often set up tournaments against one and another.
Bajan Football Bajan football (soccer) is basically football, except it much rougher. This is normally played in schools instead of regular soccer.
Rugby Rugby is a sport played on the island however it is not as popular as the others.
Ball Hockey Ball hockey is a sport played on island but mainly by men however field hockey on the other hand is something you will see quite often being played on any public field.
Swimming Swimming is one of the main sports on the island. Most schools will provide swimming lessons at the local pool. Schools will set up inter school swimming galas. Swimming is token as a serious sport on the island and many teens train in swimming on their own time.

Phones The majority of teenagers on island will have a phone. This is because there is not many things to do on island so it is a popular way of keeping in contact with your friends during breaks or weekends.
Movies A lot of teenagers will go to the movies with their friends. This is because the malls we have are not very good for shopping because they mainly only have high end shops.
