To study the capabilities of Milagro pond to detect the high energy component of GRBs around 1 GeV using the scalers system. Aim of the work
We introduce a weigh in the parameters xcore, ycore, theta, etc • weight=sqrt(xcore*xcore+ycore*ycore)/500.0
We fit a function of the form to the effective area points: a = 198.17 b = 1.62 c = 1.56 d = 9008 E/GeV
Calculating the Fluence: Assuming that High energy spectrum goes a power law rate=5*(2.9E3) Hz The value of the rate was taken from the Tony´s Memo “The events: Part 1 scalers Data”
