Purpose • This Pre-Ordering and Ordering Guide is intended to provide the D/CLEC (Data/Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) with the facility description and general information specific to processing a product request.   3. Scope of LQS • The information contained in LQS is derived from the Loop Engineering Assignment Data (LEAD) Database. • Information returned via LQS provides some indication of loop characteristics.   4. Access Requirements • To access the LQS, a USER ID and Password is required. Contact your LCM for more information or visit the website at http://lqs.bellsouth.com Private/Proprietary: Not for Use or Disclosure Outside BellSouth Except Under Written Agreement 4

  5. Interconnection Agreement Requirements • If a D/CLEC requests access to LQS and access is not already covered by the existing Interconnection Agreement (IA) language, the Contract Negotiator should be contacted to get the IA amended. • Once it has been confirmed that a D/CLEC has the appropriate language in the IA, a User Name and Password can be submitted for access..   6. Discontinue Access to LQS If the D/CLEC wishes to discontinue use of LQS, it istheresponsibility of the D/CLECto contact their CLEC Care representative to disconnect access to the LQS System. Private/Proprietary: Not for Use or Disclosure Outside BellSouth Except Under Written Agreement 6
