  2. Short history The company was established in February 1992 in České Budějovice by two partners. The business started with import of hard drives, memory modules and processors. Purchase was always from abroad since beginning. Abacus Computer started to grow in import business and gained important market share on Czech market. Further expansion was through group of subsidiaries in the biggest cities in Czech Republic and nowadays also abroad. Important sales tool became B2B e-shop Netkoloniál.
