  22. Exploring Careers in the ArtsWith TechnologyThis lesson will occur in 1-2 classes in the Computer Labwith Kennedy fifth graders. It will happen at the end of the school year, at the end of Youth Art Month in March, or during the May Art Show week at Kennedy.

  23. View Presentation on Art Careers in the Computer Lab*Complete an interest survey to determine their area of greatest art interest based on personal characteristics. (Students will determine interest by checking boxes, and enter the totals checked in large boxes for each art area on their form.)*Share their survey results with a peer*Participation in class discussion to explore:What is a hyperlink? How is it found and inserted? How is it accessed?Open the PowerPoint file in the Student Art Folder*Tour Careers in art through PowerPoint hyperlinks*Writing activity and print out explaining their possible career area in the arts

  24. AssessmentArt survey completed Evidence of sharing with a peer and/or during the class discussion Written summary of highest area of interest in Word file, printed and handed in. It will start with an open ended prompt in a file they can access on the student file area.
