A development is another word for a project • You are coming up with a world problem or a big problem that you wish could be solved. • Then you are creating a problem solution graphic organizer on your project. • ***Your main goal is to make the populace(aka your peers and teacher) aware of the problem, create a working solution for the problem, and present the information in a creative and engaging way.***
Step One –Be able to Define your problem • Do enough research and analyzing that you truly know and can define your problem that you chose.
Research • Make sure your facts can be backed up by research. • Research your solution. That means think of how you are going to solve the problem and do research to make sure it is a possible solution.
State that Solution State your solution and give the details of your solution Your essay needs details, so you will be prepared during the Press Conference.
Advantages • Your essay should have a solution and each solution should then have two advantages! • An advantage to your solution would be a positive, a pro to your solution, a benefit. • How will the problem be benefitted by your solution? • Example:(A benefit to raising minimum wages would mean that more people could use their new funds to better the economy)

Press Conference Day • On the day of the press conference, come in dressed for success in business attire (suits, ties, dresses, business suits, etc.) Dress to impress. • Come in ready with your (problem solution argument/ folder) • Present using visuals: i.e. posters, statistics, power points, documentaries, iMovie's, etc.
