Pre Development Work Required • Baffinland has submitted an application to NIRB as well as all required permit applications to pertinent Regulators • Investment is large • Low impact on the environment • Training & Jobs available this coming year • Project construction work will not start prior to project approval • Opportunity for marine monitoring during the sea-lifts

  3. What is planned? • Sealift materials to both Milne Inlet and to Steensby area • Store them in preparation for construction • Fuel, heavy equipment, building materials • A winter ice road to bring some supplies to ready sites for rail construction • Training and employment opportunities related to this work
