Programme’s Objective The programme is targeting individuals and organisations, and the objective is to become familiar with the EU structures, the policy creation processes, programmes and best practices.
Objectives of the study visit: Exchange of knowledge, experiences, and information relevant for active citizenship from the aspect of civic education, involvement, participation and volunteering. • Information about programmes; • Visits to institutions; • Promotion of European networks.
Objectives of the study visit • Possibilities for: • Networking among participants in the study visit; • Networking with Civil Society Organisations working on European level.
Programmes including active citizenship: • Europe for Citizens(http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/citizenship/index_en.php); • Lifelong learning programme (http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/llp/index_en.php) • Youth in Action(http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/youth/index_en.php) • Engagement and participation of citizens from marginalized groups and combating poverty
Europe for Citizens • This programmes aims at developing closer connections among citizens in Europe and offering opportunities for interaction. - Activities for twinning towns and activities of already twinned towns
Lifelong learning programme • Comenius – targeting educational and administrative staff in education of children from pre-school to high-school age. - networking of schools.
Lifelong learning programme • Erasmus – Targeting higher education • Grundtvig – adult education - Possibilities for adult learning as well as learning by doing.
Youth in Action • Youth exchange, cooperation and support to youth initiatives • ЕВС – mobility and intercultural learning • Cooperation with EU neighboring countries – youth exchange, training courses, and seminars
Engagement and participation of citizens from margnialized groups and combating poverty • Progress programme – Programme for employment and social solidarity (employment, social protection, social inclusion, anti-discrimination, gender equality)
Visit to institutions • European Parliament • European Committee for Economic and Social Affairs • EU enlargement office – Macedonia
European networks • Programme for International Democratic Exchange – PDCI; • Network for European Foundations for Innovative Cooperation; • Youth partnership, EU-СоЕ (http://youth-partnership-eu.coe.int/youth-partnership/), Youth Educational Forum
Follow-up activities • Internal exchange of information and materials within the basic organisation; • Exchange of information with local CSOs – organized tribune on topic “Voluntarism in practice”;
Follow-up activities • Regular contacts with organisations from the region – participants in the study visit; • Joint preparation of applications.
