  11. Installing Analytics Interact Services with Desktop:- In Windows Services select “SYSPRO Analytics Business service”

  12. Installing Analytics Right Click on this service and select Properties

  13. Installing Analytics Select “Log On” Tab and tick “Allow service to interact with desktop” OK

  14. Installing Analytics Start the service

  15. Installing Analytics Verify the service has started

  16. Configuring Analytics “Settings”

  17. Configuring Analytics Start SYSPRO Analytics Client

  18. Configuring Analytics - Settings Browse and select [local] Browse and select “localhost” OK

  20. Configuring Analytics - Settings Check the results of the configuration in SQL Server 2000 1) Open SQL server 2000 Enterprise Manager 2) Double click or Expand Databases 3) Check there is a “Syspro_Datastage” 4) Check there is a “Syspro_Warehouse”

  40. Configuring Analytics – KPI’s Click one KPI IN THIS COLUMN to have “Set Build Options” button enabled

Configuring Analytics – ETL Job • Checking the results of the KPI Build • Open Enterprise Manager • Expand Data Transformation Services • – Local Packages - the following DTS packages should be here: • Cubes and Dimensions • Load_ Name Packages (Transforming Data) • Company specific Packages (Extract Data)

  50. Configuring Analytics – ETL Job • Checking the results of the KPI Build • Open Enterprise Manager • Expand Management • Expand SQL Server Agent • Ensure that this service is running • Right click and Start if service is “Stopped”
