Theme: The book has a lot of lessons for us to learn. Book Report #2 Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters byRick Riordan Cat Kwon; 7-3B I chose this picture because the subtitle is called Sea of Monsters and this perfectly fits in. The reason why the subtitle is called Sea of Monsters is not related to this but the picture is also one of the monster of sea.
Main Character • Percy Jackson the son of Poseidon (god of sea, horse, earthquake), Annabeth Chase the daughter of Athena (god of wisdom, strategy, etc…) and Grover Underwood that is a satyr and also protector.
Protagonist • The protagonists in this book is Percy Jackson and he is kind of water guy so well build, kind and very caring, pg. 11 – “I had to promise to buy Tyson an extra peanut butter sandwich at lunch to get him to stop sobbing.
Antagonist • The antagonist is Luke in this case because he was trying to revive Kronos by sacrificing himself. He is also well build body, good at stealing, son of Hermes.
Setting • The place is at the house of Percy that is sleeping on the last day of the school for the first that doesn’tgets kicked out of the school and having a nightmare of Grover’s danger.
Plot • The story was generally very well organized and can find out what is different and a conflict & peace in the book.
Theme • The major theme/lesson is don’t be arrogant because it will damage you soon in either physical or mental problems.
Comments • I learned that any of these characters are not like me and it is very impressed that arrogant was that important to avoid and it taught everyone by a book.
