“The elephant is huge,” said Jackson. “I like elephants because they are the biggest animal at the zoo.”
“The lion is sleeping,” said Bayley. This is a male lion. He has a mane.
“Giraffes love to eat grass and leaves,” said Drew. They are the tallest animal at the zoo.
“I see the orangutans,” said Jose’. “They are big orange members of the monkey family. Bob is the baby. He is three years old.”
This is the male orangutan. He is eating a weed. He is very big.
“The hornbill was hopping on the branches and flying a little bit, too,” said Aizik.
“Here are more living things at the zoo,” said Asael. “I see purple flowers, and I see lots of big bamboo at the zoo.”
“The flamingos are pink, and they live near the water,” said Amber. “I love flamingos.”
“The alligator is sleeping in the sun so he can get warm,” said Rachel and Jonnie Marie.
“This pot bellied pig is very big and very smelly,” said Michijah.
“The owl sits in the tree and watches everyone going by,” said Marco.
“This rhinoceros iguana is really big and really neat,” said Abby and Bayley. “It is a living thing, and it is a reptile.”
“This conure bird has a sharp beak. It has lots of yellow feathers. It has many colors because of the fruits it eats. It was green when it hatched. Its name is Sunny. The other birds were mean to her,” said Mia.
“The blue-tongued skink feels soft,” said Danny. Insects are attracted to its blue tongue, but then the skink eats them.
