Dear Johnny Reid,Here is our outdoor classroom. We are in Kindergarten at St. Frances School in Saskatoon. Here is how we changed the world.
We planted trees in the outdoor classroom to help us breathe. Cause if there were no trees we couldn’t breathe.
This is the entrance in May and in October. The bottom picture is more beautiful.
We found this tree at the park because people were ripping it, so we put it in our outdoor classroom to give it a home.
This is the stage where we sing and dance. We think the bottom picture is more beautiful than just rocks and dirt.
Here is where we play in the sandbox and build with blocks. We like to make stuff. The sandbox is so fun to play in. We have made it more beautiful.
We planted grass and watered it and it grew. Each day we came out to look to see how our grass was doing. We planted flowers. There is a big difference between these 2 pictures because we worked hard. We were really tired.
We planted flowers, tomatoes and lettuce. We are going to make a salad.
How we Built our outdoor classroom • Planted grass and flowers • Painted stepping stones • Raked the leaves and garbage • We put bricks out there • We painted rocks
Why we built the Outdoor classroom • Wanted to be special • Wanted 2 classrooms • Wanted something more than dirt and rocks • Wanted something beautiful
