  12. What is FTP ? • FTP is an application layer protocol • Uses Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) • Reliable, Connection-oriented

  13. What is PPP ? • Point-to-Point Protocol • Provide host to network connections via synchronous and asynchronous connections • Encapsulates multi-protocol datagrams over a point-to-point link
