Bellinger 26 September 2014 Muon Alignment Project Status • Gervasio Gomez and James Pivarski are co-conveners • Current priority of group is to understand apparent conflict between hardware and tracking estimates of DT • Experts are reviewing a proposed set of CSC chamber positions • X/Y from laser alignment, endpoints based on disk survey • Z based on disk survey • Some inconsistencies in the Z-sensor array • RotX based on laser alignment (chamber tilt from disk bulge) • No handle on RotY • RotZ based on disk survey
