  2. Background • David Crockett was born on August 17,1766 • David Crockett was born in Northern Tennessee • When David was eighteen he learned how to write and read • David got married at August 14,1806 to Mary Finley, before his 20th birthday • David had two kid named Wesley and William

  3. Career David work in the military before the revolution,he enlisted in the militia as a scout. During the revolution he was one of the defender of the Alamo.

  4. Time at the Alamo David was one of the defender He didn't came until February 8,with 12 Tennessee mounted volunteers

  5. Interesting fact/or quote When David was 13 he got into a fight and knowing that his dad is going to get super piss, so rather going home,he roamed Tennessee and he literally tear wolves apart with his bare hands.

  8. Important to Texas David Crockett was a frontiersman, politician and folk hero from Tennessee who joined Texas forces in 1836 and was killed in battle at the Alamo.
