Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) • Manages the supply chain and logistics for Naval weapons: Provides parts to the Fleet and life cycle logistics support to weapon system Program Managers. Develops and maintains optimal stock positioning and retail allowance strategies. Provides logistics and supply assistance to DLA, Marine Corps Aviation, Coast Guard and Foreign Military partners. 6
Naval Operational Logistics Support Center (NOLSC) NAVSUP’s interface for USMC, joint operations & exercise support • NAVSUP Center of Excellence (COE) for ordnance, petroleum and transportation management: • Provide non-nuclear ordnance life cycle inventory mgmt logistics support. • Service Control Point for DoD and supply chain manager for all Navy & Marine Corps petroleum products. • Ensure U.S. Naval Forces receive quality transportation services. • NOLSC HQ location in Norfolk, VA 7
Navy Supply Information Systems Activity (NAVSISA) Navy supply automated systems central design agent: • Develop/maintain information systems for shore activities in logistics, transportation, finance, accounting and inventory areas. • Commercially certified for development of quality software systems. 8
Navy ExchangeService Command (NEXCOM) • Provide quality goods and services at a savings and supports quality of life programs for active duty military, retirees, Reservists and their families. • Oversee 105 Navy Exchange complexes with approximately 305 retail locations, 43 Navy Lodges, 157 ship's stores and the Uniform Program Management Office $40M (FY06) in profits support Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs ashore. NEX gave nearly $34 million in profits to MWR to support quality of life programs. 9
