What We Need From You • To complete training: • 8-16 hours • Building principals will coordinate and schedule awareness trainings • There will be online sessions made available • All paperwork will be sent to the Special Education Office-from there to PD
Who Has an IEP? • Any student who meets eligibility requirements to receive specialized instruction under IDEIA’s guidelines
Who Should See The IEP? • Any educational professional directly responsible for providing educational services to the benefit of the child • General education teacher • Instructional support • Nurse (if there is a medical component) • Special education teacher
