Getting it right for every child in ohs. • Do you feel : • Active ? - You should have the highest attainable standards of physical and mental health, access to suitable health care and support to make healthy and safe choices.
Getting it right for every child in ohs. • Do you feel : • Nurtured ? -You should have a nurturing place to live, in a family setting with additional help if needed or, where this is not possible in a suitable care setting.
Getting it right for every child in ohs. • Do you feel : • Achieving ? - You should besupported and guided in your learning and in the development of your skills; confidence and self esteem at home, at school and in the community.

Why we are here: • We work in partnership with Oban High School Staff and outside agencies to ensure that you are Safe, Healthy , Active, Nurtured, Achieving,, Respected , Responsible and Included whilst you are at home and in school. • Some of the things we do include: • One to One support with pupils to help with issues such as behaviour, self-esteem, bereavement, and bullyingetc. • Group work such as Personal Development, running Prince’s Trust XL Groups. • Advising and mentoring students who are leaving school and liaising with training organisations/colleges/careers etc. • Lunchtime Support Groups. • Supporting students with Life Skills. • Working in the Outdoors
HOW to CONTACT us? • If you have any concerns that you feel we may be able to help you with, please contact your Guidance Teacher who will then refer you to us. If, however, you can’t find you r Guidance Teacher and feel you can’t wait then please come and find us at SD5 at the end of the English Corridor. If we are not there, go to the school office and they will contact us. • We wish you all the best for your future in Oban High School.
