HH estimates • The total HH estimate for Gaalkacyo South far exceeds what we believe to be the reality. • In particular, we think that the HH estimates for Bulo jawaan (2642) and Calanleey (1796) are far too big. We therefore believe these figures may refer to the individual population and not the HH number.

  2. Current HH estimates are shown on the map on the next slide. • Figures in black are OK. • Figures in orangeindicate we believe these are unrealistic and need to be revised.

In the table on the next slide, we have re-estimated the HH number for settlements that we believe have unrealistic figures, mostly based on proportional size between settlements. • Based on your firsthand knowledge of the settlements, we greatly appreciate your insights on this matter, as well as specific feedback on our suggested revisions for these figures. Feel free to amend the table directly.
