  2. Today is Mix it Up Day • National research, and our own survey at T.H. Bell last year, showed that students feel the most segregation in their schools occurs in the lunch room.

  3. You will be given a wrist band tommorrow morning and will be asked to sit at a table of that color in the cafeteria today. • Yes you will be OK, who knows maybe you’ll make a new friend. • We will be having games and prizes as well, but you must be participating to win.

  4. Class Activity • Close your eyes before the teacher asks the question. • Put up your hand if the question applies to you. • Open your eyes when the teacher says to. • Look around the room and see who you have that thing in common with.

  13. 11. • YOU WERE CHUBBY AS A BABY?

  14. 12 • LIME GREEN IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?

  15. 13. • YOU WENT CAMPING THIS SUMMER ?

  16. 14. • YOU WILL EAT GRAB AND GO BAR TWO TIMES OR MORE THIS WEEK ?

  20. DISCUSSION • DID YOU NOTICE? • WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT? • DOES IT SHOW UNITY? • DOES IT MAKE THEM A GANG OR CLIQUE? • WHAT IF THE ENGLISH & HISTORY DEPARTMENTS WEREN’T INVITED TO PARTICIPATE?
