3D Animation and Post Production Project • Sound Forge 5: Think about/find music. No words. 1 minute. • Vistapro 4: Create 720x480 at least 45 second at 30 fps. Save in your T drive. • Premier Pro 1.5: Create opening credit, merge music and animation. Output to DVD quality. Write DVD. • Avery Media: Import JPG to create DVD cover. Print out.
2. Make sure you have created an animation with enough frames. Frame number can be determined by # of nodes and speed. Remember to divide total number of frames by 30, and that will give you approx. the number of seconds of your animation. Save Landscape (under File).
3. Create your entire database. Save Landscape (under File). Test to see if it will look good or not. You’ll be creating an AVI. We call it a ‘Pencil test’.
4. Remember to save in your T drive, both the pencil test and your final raw animation. You can play your pencil test over the network. You CANNOT play the raw animation. Too large. You could copy it to the D: Drive to view it. Remember to give it your name: flastname_anim.avi. Render pencil tests until you are happy with your results. Then render it at full resolution.
5. We recommend that you use NO compression codec. This means your file will be large. LARGE!!!
