Instructions for Enlightenment Rap/Poem • As a group, you will be responsible for coming up with a “rap” (or a poem for those less “hammy”) about an Enlightenment figure • The rap/poem will need to show us what you’ve learned about the Enlightenment, in general, and then also some key facts about your person. • There will be a “performance” accompanied by your lyrics/poem up on the screen
Rap Roles and Requirements • Roles: • ALL Group Members: Read book section (195-200) and additional material on your philosophe • ALL Group Members: Contribute to writing the rap/poem • 2 people (or more): perform the rap/poem • 1 person writes the lyrics down to put up through the doc cam • 1 person makes a visual to share • Requirements: • Rap/poem must demonstrate at least 3 key facts about the Enlightenment • Rap/poem must give audience a thorough description of your person • You must have written lyrics to share • You must have a relevant visual
