  8. SISTEMUL DE IMPLANTOLOGIE BICON Incepand cu anul 1985 » Simplu. Previzibil. Profitabil. Bazandu-se pe 25 de ani de succesclinicsi 40 de ani de cercetaresidezvoltare, sistemuldentarBicon continua sa fie in top in industriaimplanturilor. Pentru a aprecia in totalitatesistemulunic de implant Bicon, sistem cu prindereconicaintrebontsi implant de 1.5°, faptcecreeaza o barierabacteriana, trebuiecunoscutaistoriaimplantuluidentarBicon.

  9. Desi designul implantului poate parea nou unor medici stomatologi, acesta isi are inceputurile cu mult inainte de 1982, an in care Prof. Branemark a vizitat Toronto pentru a demonstra ce a invatat despre proprietatile titaniului.

  10. Cercetarea initiala Bicon a fost facuta in 1968 la Institutul Batelle Memorial din Columbus, Ohio, cufonduri de la Ministerul Apararii Statelor Unite. Primele designuri foloseau oxid de aluminiu cu o densitate mare, ca material pentru implant.

  11. Totusi, aceastaceramica s-a demonstrat a fi preacasanta. In 1981, cu un an inainteavizitei prof. Branemark in Toronto, Thomas Driskell, inventatorulimplantuluiBicon a introdussistemul de implant (Titanodont) facut din titaniu. Apoi in 1985, el a introdus al treilea design, sistemul de implant de precizie DB, acelasisistem de conectare, acelasisistem de blocaj de  1.5°, izolatbacterian, folositastazi de Bicon.
