Making a Video MacBook Edition
Steps to Record Video • Hover over the bottom of your screen until the icons choices appear. • Choose Photo Booth Icon • On the left hand side of the screen, you will see three “boxes”. The third box is an icon of a movie film strip. Click this icon to change to video recording. • Click the red button with a video camera icon on it. • Record video and click the same button to stop record.
Sending Video • To send the video to someone in the room, including the teacher, click the video you want to send. Above the video will be a “send” icon that looks like an arrow moving away. This is the same icon used to send pictures and videos on iPhones, iPads, iPods, and social media such as Facebook and Pinterest. • After clicking the arrow, choose Airdrop. Anyone who you want to Airdrop the video to will need to have this feature opened on his or her MacBook as well. *See next slide
Opening AirDrop • Hover over your icons at the bottom of the screen until they appear. • Choose the “man’s face” otherwise known as the Finder icon. • In the left hand column that appears, choose airdrop. This will mean that you have opened this feature until you close the screen. Anyone that is within the distance required for you to airdrop to them, will appear in the screen next to the list. • Simply click on the person you wish to airdrop to and send your document, video, pictures, or file.
