Geography • Greece is a peninsula with many smaller peninsulas • Greece is also covered in mountains which makes travel longer than it would take on flat ground • Greece contains the cities of Aetolia, Locris, Acarnania
Geography continued • Arcadia is a plateau over mountain ranges Greece is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea contains 1400 islands. Mild winters, long hot and dry summers the sea allowed them to trade with other civilizations around the continent
