Who Funds Us • KAUST: King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (http://www.kaust.edu.sa) • This is a new graduate-level research university with a multi-billion dollar endowment, starting September 5 2009, that aims to be “merit-based and open to men and women from around the world” KAUST King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
Funding Competition • KAUST invited 50+ university to compete for 4 research centers • They call this the GRP: Global Research Partnership • The aim is to give KAUST research collaborators in important fields KAUST King Abdullah University of Science and Technology 3
