The Coach“The role model” Teaching respect and sportsmanship daily Demonstrating respect and sportsmanship daily Praising respect and sportsmanship daily Demonstrates that he is coaching to develop character, not coaching to win. Not just in words, but in actions. back
The Parent“The biggest fan” • Respecting the coach’s ultimate authority • Respecting that playing time is not a subject of negotiation • Role modeling “positive standards of conduct” as a fan and parent. • Resisting being a “backseat coach” and gossiping about team in the “stands” Becoming a fan of the team, not of the child back
The Fans“Representing our Community” • Purity in cheering –proper etiquette • All positive remarks toward PG players • Hospitable, not hostile to our opponents • May not disrupt game • Respecting officials calls • CHEERING, NOT JEERING! Represent PG with class! back

Transportation policy • $30 transportation fee per sport • All trips on penninsula are “one way drops” • All trips out of valley are “stays” and athletes must return on the bus if they go on the bus • Exceptions team to team which coaches will explain in their meetings.
Transportation Policy Students who travel on bus must return on bus (exception) prewritten note signed by administrator Parents may only drive their own children unless the following paperwork is complete • Insurance coverage form ( for “chauffeurs”) • Field trip authorization ( for passengers)
Transportation • Students MAY NOT drive other students to events. Students may not transport themselves to events from school.**Golf/Softball** • Students may return home from an event ONLY with an adult over the age of 25 which we have authorization/paperwork.
Team Meetings Collect all fees and forms Go over schedules/team rules/expectations Go over parent needs and sign ups Create season plan for success Discuss fund raisers and banquet Q & A with coaching staff
