  2. Why students don’t want to talk ? • Because some students feel to be dominated by smart students. • Because some students feel to be intimidate. • Because some students can’t speak freely in the classroom setting. • Because they are afraid to speak in English.

  3. There are 5 ways to try as a teacher • Use pairwork • Allow them to speak in a controlled way at first. • Use ‘acting out’ and reading aloud • Use role-play • Use recording

  4. Using pairwork • Pairwork will help to provoke students to speak.

  5. Allow them to speak in a controlled way at first. • The teacher dictate a sentence with fill in the blank then students should fill it and read it.

  6. Use ‘acting out’ and reading aloud • Getting students to act out dialogues is one of way encouraging quiet students.

  7. Use Role-play • Using role-play can help the teacher to increase students’ motivation.

  8. Use recording • The teacher command to the students to speak what they want to say and record it in outside in the outside the lesson. The record is played and listened by the teacher in the lesson.
