Expectations • Student Behaviors • Be prompt • Be ready to learn when class begins. • Be prepared • Have materials with you and know due dates. • Be a polite and positive participant • Speak in a normal tone of voice, and listen attentively. • Be productive • Turn in work on time, and always do your best. • Be a problem solver • Correct problems quickly and peacefully before they escalate
Expectations • Show Respect • Value yourself. Be honest and ethical, and practice strong moral values. • Treat all members of the school community and all visitors with politeness and respect. • Honor the ideas and opinions of others. • Offer to help. • Be responsible with property and belongings.
Expectations • Responsibility for Coursework • Bring notebook, textbook, planner, USB flash drive, and appropriate writing tools to class. • Know due dates, and submit all coursework on time. • All assignments are located and should be turned in to the class work bin.

Class Room Rules • Follow Directions the FIRST time they are given. (hint: LISTEN) • Be willing to accept 50% responsibility for your learning experience. I will be responsible for the other 50%. • Be on time, check board for assignment, and start to work. • Be quiet and respectful. (Just because you do not find the course interesting, does not mean that everyone shares your opinion.)
Class Room Rules • No Profanity. (Trust me, failing to hold the tongue is a sign of weakness.) • Stay in your seat till the bell rings. (Non-Negotiable!!!!!) • No Sleeping. (If you sleep on the job, you will get fired.)
Procedures • Students are to come in, read the projector for today's agenda, log-on to computers, and get started. • They have a bell ringer to complete each day, usually within the first 15-20 minutes of class. • Students are to place work in their files on the computer saved under directions specified for the day or in/at/on designated place in the room specified by me.
Procedures • Students should know when they have been absent, they are to hand in their attendance note to me and collect make-up work from their "class labeled" work bin. • Check will fellow classmate • Work will not be accepted for full credit without an EXCUSED note from office
Procedures • Bathroom • It is my intention to take a short break everyday, although not required or may not happen. • Passes will be issued at teacher’s discretion • Please attempt to use the bathroom between classes.
Policies • Homework • Very seldom will homework be assigned. • When it is materials needed for the assignment will be provided and/or accessible. (i.e. library) • It is to be returned on due date
Policies • Food/Drink • It is allowed in my classroom, but ONLY in designated areas. • NO FOOD/DRINK of any kind should be at computer. Any food/drink seen in restricted areas will be removed and privileges for that person will be taken away. • You must eat on YOUR own time. Ex. If an assignment is due within the first 15minutes of class and you bring in food, it is still your responsibility that work gets submitted on time. • Black table in the back of the room is only place where food/drink is allowed
Policies • Lunch (applies to 3rd block ONLY) • Will be in beginning of 3rd block from 11:40am-12:05pm • You will have 5 minutes to return to class- 12:10pm • You will be considered late at 12:10pm • Class will be begin at 12:10pm

Consequences • First/Second Offense- Verbal warning • first- aloud in front of class • second-we meet outside in hall/at desk while other work quietly
Consequences • Third Offense- Written • referral sheet to an assistant principal • Student will serve In-School-Suspension (ISS) or Detention
