Spain 2nd Field Trials • Action points: • Improve technologies for the visualisation (VIS5D) • Enhance by the feedback of the results of the 1st Field Trials • Implementation of new technologies (MMS/ sound) • Incorporation of new content: UV, pollen • Increase the number of participants • Statistics of acces will be provided • Type of users and number will be determined after the results assessment of the 1st Field trials

MMS SERVICE WAP Color MMSPDAsGPRS, UMTS phones • Production of images for mobile applications. • Using Java to send these images to Telefonica server. • The information is sent via internet in a POST message using multipart-data format. • Scripts are also used to connect to Data Bases for gathering information related to subscriptors. MAPSERVER • MAPSERVER V 3.6.4. Is used. • POSTGIS V 0.7.5 is incorporated (new DB) for Canary Islands and Andalusia areas. • Daily operationational refreshing procedures update the information in these new DB’s. • PHP and MAPSERVER functionalities are applied to operate the web queries. Avaliable queries are: Zoom, Pan, road and railroads vector files visualization. Information is provided for for 5 pollutants, 3 days, 24 hours.
VISAQD VISAQD: VIS5D program adaptation to visualize air quality data via web. • It provides 3D information for 5 pollutants, 24 hours, 1 day. • OPANA output’s are used as input for VISAQD. Data isrefreshed daily. • JAVA servlet technology is used: • Tomcat is used as server. • A JAVA client is needed to be downloaded in client side.
