Empower: Journey to Employment Project for ESA Claimants

The "Journey to Employment" project by the DWP supports ESA claimants in the WRAG, helping identify barriers and develop In-work Support Plans. Focusing on ability over disability, it promotes tailored adjustments. This voluntary program aims to enhance wellbeing, social inclusion, and confidence. The Job Club offers a 12-week course addressing barriers, beliefs, self-care, and more. Access is through job centre work coaches only. Providers in London include organizations like Camden Society and Mencap, offering job training, apprenticeships, and social enterprises. Additional programs like iPlan to Work and iCHOOSE cater to specific needs for learning disability and employment support.
