Outcomes By the end of the session, Fellows will have the opportunity to: • Develop as a professional learning community • Develop an expanded knowledge and awareness of self in the context of the Decision Making • Gain knowledge about the “Democratic ” Leadership style • Assess progress on Fellows Project
Fellows Norms • Be committed and fully present and true to self. • Support, value, and encourage one another in and outside of Fellows. • Appreciate and embrace divergent thinking. • Maintain confidentiality.
Scenario • A new K–5 Middle school is opening in the fall. It will be necessary to determine what students will attend the new school, necessitating the formation of new boundary lines. • Identify and describe at least three critical factors that the board of education should considered as they make their decision about the new boundary lines being drawn. (Recommendations)

Fellows Project • 20 minutes to present, 10 minutes of questions from panel. • Using Board Rooms • You are presenting to a panel as well as your colleagues. • You will get written feedback from your panel. • Your presentation for the purpose of sharing it with you and possible supporting next year’s Fellows.
