St. BridgetMary Of The Irish By: Bridget Reckert
Growing Up St. Bridget was probably born in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. When Bridget was younger she liked to help the poor. Bridget would often bring up food and clothing for them. One day Bridget brought up a whole pail of milk for them, then she worried what her mother would say. She prayed to the Lord to make up for what she had given away. When she got home, the pail was full!!
Patron Saint St. Bridget is the patron Saint of babies, blacksmiths, boatmen, cattle, chicken farmers, dairy maids, etc. Her feast day is Feburary 1.
Why I picked St. Bridget • I picked St. Bridget because she has my name so I wanted to see what my name stood for.
