NAEYC • 80 years of existence • Three main goals – ultimately improve well-being of all young children • Bettering well-qualified practitioners, improving conditions for these professionals • Deliver high quality system of supporting early childhood programs. • Serve and act on behalf of needs, rights, and well-being with all young children • Focus on quality of educational and developmental services and resources while serving and acting on behalf of all children birth through age 8.
