  2. WRITING PROMPT “I’m Grown” Essay Your parents have been talking about going away for a weekend anniversary vacation. They have been discussing where they are going to send your younger brothers and sisters, but your name has not come up yet. You have been on your best behavior and trying your best lately to demonstrate your responsibility and trustworthiness. You have taken on a part time job, in addition to making the JV Cross Country team. A plan is developing in your mind! A weekend home alone would be the best way to show your parents that you are grown. Write letter to your parents, persuading them to trust you enough to allow you to stay home alone for the weekend. You may use the provided information above, or you may present new points of view to this prompt. Use specific reason and examples to support your position.
