Uses in Marketing • Privately share audio (to key recipients) • Promo tool for Djs and journalists • Collect feedback from your listeners • SoundCloud allows you to create Remix Competitions • Listeners can buy the tracks • Users can create a profile, customize their page, upload and record multiple tracks

  5. Is it effective? • Artists can allow others to download their song for free in exchange for social conversation • (by “sharing”) • Mostly effective for producers and musical professionals • Easy media for self-promotion
