  2. Gloss If you look at the one that has the most sheen, then it would be Gloss. This paint finish absorbs light and is thus considered highly reflective. It is considered favourable since it has the most durability.

  3. Semi-Gloss Another one would be Semi-gloss. This paint finish has a slight sheen and is not as reflective as gloss. It is also considered easier to clean and is often used in exterior walls. It should be used for surfaces that are prone to wear.

  4. Satin Satin, on the other hand, when compared to the other two, has a lesser sheen. It adds more depth to the surface and would hide imperfections better.

  5. Matte The second to the last paint finish would be Matte. It is a popular choice for those who live in condominiums. This finish hides imperfections perfectly.

  6. Flat Flat is the paint finish, which is the opposite of gloss. It doesn’t have any sheen at all. It doesn’t absorb light but compared to gloss, it can hide imperfections the best. However, it is very difficult to clean because of its rough texture.
