Space – Money or No Money By: Marisa 9B
My Opinion I believe that we should keep giving money to the I.S.S. so that we can get new technology and be able to find new planets and stars. With being able to have the new technology we could possibly launch different animals (or creatures) in space to see how they react. The I.S.S. wants to do new experiments using zero gravity, possibly get new medical treatments for cure that have not yet been found, and they want to build a large permanent space station. I agree that they should do all of those things. Information from: http://www.solarspace.co.uk/iss.php
Cost of Space • A Space Shuttle costs about 1.7 billion dollar and NASA spends about 9 billion dollars per year. • The last mission to the moon costs about 400 billion dollars and that was about 40 years agoso imagine what it would cost today. • - It took 50 billion dollars to make the International Space Station.
Have You Heard? They need money to find out new things in the world that happens like that meteorite that hit Russia about a week ago. Scientist found little bits of the meteorite and I’m sure they need money to find out all the research needed so they can see what caused it to happened.
The meteor that hit Russia was really interested me and so there is a video that was kinda cool that I’m going to show you. Sorry it is in Russian (obviously) and the boom that you hear is called a sonic boom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7eDpMNQU6A
