  2. Progress This Week • RS232Bluetooth adaptor arrived • Developed basic functional algorithm • Problems with 802.11b network • Worked with MySQL libraries • Installed software for PocketPC development (~400 MB worth) • Updated website

  6. Trouble With Wireless Access • 802.11b network has poor coverage • AirCable adaptor not powered by RS232 connection • External power supply in the mail

Began developing for PocketPC • Installed software • PocketPC docking software • MS eMbedded Visual C++ 4 • MS Embedded Visual Tools • NI Labview PDA • Loaded VIs onto PocketPC • Successfully ran example (asteroids) VI on a PocketPC • Experimented with VI implementation of functional algorithm

For Next Week • Use “Hyperterminal” LabVIEW PDA VI to communicate with DinaMap via Bluetooth • Begin work on VI to implement functional algorithm • Continue developing algorithm according to GCRC needs • Work really hard on MySQL connectivity • Working .exe demo in one week, working VI demo in two weeks • Discuss spotty 802.11b situation with Dr. Harris
