  3. Purpose To create a vibrant community where child, family and community organisations work together with one aim – maximising the wellbeing and resilience of children and their families.

  4. Small beginnings The Alliance began with a partnership between Blue Mountains City Council, Mountains Community Resource Network and the Families First Service Network project. The intention of the partnership was to set up the Stronger Families Planning Group.

  5. Membership Currently have 28 members or groups and networks Leaders of networks and organisations sit in on the group Stakeholder view of membership: “Who has an interest in children’s success or failure in life?”
