  1. TIPS TO HELP YOU INVEST IN RIGHT PALLETS FOR YOUR WAREHOUSE • Pallets Inc. • 11 Huntsmore Road Minto Sydney NSW 2566 • 02 9603 4855 • sales@palletsinc.com.au

  2. INTRODUCTION • Choosing the suitable pallets is crucial for any warehouse as this will streamline operations. • Moreover, the process will run safely, efficiently and in full flow with good-quality heavy-duty pallets. • Confusion occurs due to the availability of many sizes, grades, requirements, and considerations. • A quick and handy guide is needed to understand the critical considerations for choosing pallets.

  3. WHETHER TO GO WITH FOUR OR TWO-WAY PALLETS? • These two are the most popular types of heavy-duty pallets available globally. • There are four-way entry pallets and two-way pallets. • The former has a four-side entry for forklifts and other machines on all four sides. • Two-way entry pallets have two sides open, which means machines like forklifts can access them from two sides only.

  4. GLOBAL PALLET SIZES AND SQUARE PALLETS • There are six ICO-approved global pallet sizes, including the UK and Euro standards: • • 48 × 40 inches (1219 x 1016mm) – most commonly used in North America • • 45.9 × 45.9 inches (1165 x 1165mm) – most commonly used in Australia • • 42 × 42 inches (1067 x 1067mm) – widely used across North America, Asia and Europe • • 1200 x 800mm - most commonly used across Europe

  5. WHETHER PURCHASE NEW OR USED PALLETS? • This is another question to ask before purchasing heavy-duty pallets. • Both types have their advantages and disadvantages. • New pallets are expensive, but purchasing them lets you customise them to your exact specifications. • This is an excellent advantage if you need custom-made pallets. • Used pallets are less expensive and refurbished and repaired. • You must purchase them from reputed suppliers to ensure their quality and efficiency.
