Parent Assistant • Link is on Polo Ridge’s Website: http://pages.cms.k12.us/poloridge/ • Passwords and usernames are regulated by the office and the Parent Assistant help line. • Check your child’s CURRENT GRADES on a regular basis for grade monitoring. • Disregard the cumulative grade.
This is what the log in page looks like. This is your child’s cumulative grade, not current grade. You will need to click on the “details” box corresponding to the class you want to see.
If you can see the reporting terms box indicates that you are looking at a cumulative grade because “all reporting terms” is in that field. To access your child’s current grade, change the reporting term to the CURRENT quarter and then click display, again. This is the 1st grading period. So your child’s grades will not look any different. However, the box stays “1st grading period”. As we move to the 2nd quarter you will notice a different screen.
Heritage Day • Heritage Day is a tradition at Polo Ridge where students celebrate the diversity within our school and participate in interactive activities dealing with immigration and ethnicities. • Heritage Day will be on October 30th • Parent volunteers are needed. Room moms will coordinate the volunteers. If you have not already signed up and would like to volunteer, please contact your room mom. • Heritage Album Project- The due date for these projects is Oct. 22nd. Points will be taken off if your child turns their project in late. Projects will not be accepted after Oct. 24th.
Save the Date • Williamsburg is March 26th-28th. • A parent meeting will be held for further information including chaperone selection and pricing. • Notices about parent meetings will be on the website, written agendas, and emailed in the weekly updates.
