HI Industri 2007 Why participate? • First time we present ourselves on Fair in Denmark • Denmark is well known about it’s machine building and wind energy companies • We wanted to strengthen our name and brand awareness • We want to generate leads for KASF and CSF
HI Industri 2007 Our Presence • Booth of 36m2 in hall C “Electronics” with 3 open sides. • Budget of EUR 15K • Standard booth concept provided by fair organization with our display material. • In order to get extra attraction the main wall was painted green. • In order to get traffic in the booth apart from our live product demo’s we had dart board and a prominent give-away.

HI Industri 2007 Conclusions • Denmark is under price pressure. Companies want to deal with manufacturers vs distributors to get best prices. • It was good that Advantech was represented by us versus by channels to get more KASF leads. • We were in the wrong product segment “Electronics” and would have been better if we were in “Automation” segment were all our competition was. (This was because of late entry) • Noodles / darts was good attraction. Especially students walked on the fair grounds the whole day with our green swimming noodles which drew attention. • Next time: • arrange table standards for our HMI products (TPC) • Arrange 19 inch rack for IPC’s, FPM, ACP etc.
