I Peter 4:10 - As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Notice this important phrase, each one has received a gift. In Greek, as is kathos – in whatsoever quantity has received – aorist indicative Everyone – and how do we know this gift (charisma) or enablement? One thing an enablement is not is a natural attribute in the flesh. Let’s not seek this gift by our own performance, but life In Christ will declare it without our even noticing. Is it only one gift? The enablements are listed in 1 Cor 12&14; Rom 12;6-21; Eph 4:7-16. 1 Cor 12:4 - Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. His favors are not confined to one single thing; as, for example, to talent for doing good by preaching; but are extended to a great many things by which we may do good to influence property, reputation, wisdom, experience. The purpose? that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ And while we are about our heavenly business here on earth and until His coming, to whom does the glory and power belong and for how long? No credit to the servant! God gets the glory and through the Lord Jesus Christ (in whom we have been resurrected and made new creations)! forever and ever. Amen. Rev 1:6 - and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Amen – let it be!
