Final Evaluation in Ireland • Process has not yet started • Evaluation Unit to prepare paper • Evaluation will be a “light touch” • Will cover EU-funded measures (CSF) • Update mte analysis to end 2004 • Main issues • Progress to end 2004 (1st 5 years) • Update on developments since mte • Focus on impacts or likely impacts
Final Evaluation in Ireland • Process likely to start in H2 2005 • OP evaluations followed by CSF • Some may be carried out internally • Will try to focus on issues relevant to post 2006 • Regional competitiveness and employment objective
