  5. What is Khadi Khadi or Khaddar is just only handspun and handloom fabric which  is the symbol of national fabric of India.

  7. Is khadi handloom product? Khadi must be handloom. It is only spinning by hand.

  8. History of Khadi We found Khadi since ancient period. Hand woven crafts were available from that time.

  9. Some people got information of Khadi in Mohenjo-Daro civilization which was based in Sindh. Presently located in Gujarat and Rajasthan.

  10. During British period Mahatma Gandhi ji had given a new form of Khadi. He made it main tool of Freedom. And it became “India’s Own Textile”

  11. After 1947 Khadi becomes less popular.

  13. How khadi become fashion statement day by day It is an another name of tradition. But still some weavers are available in India who are making khadi fabric. And some of well know designers give them a modern look and fashion statement.
